Bro... seems you weren't there for the last meet. 3/4ths of the upper section of Mocha was filled with puys n nothing else.

Me in. Ok for the 6th, but would prefer the next weekend - 12th/13th May. Pune aane ka ek bahana mil jayega, n thoda kaam bhi ho jayega.

If we are planning for a dinner, then my suggestion -
Bamboo house- easily accessible to everyone, have enough space as well.

Re: Pune PG Meet - The Season Finale - 22-04-2007, 11:25 AM

Hello !

meeting up in big groups in ccd / barista is problematic, as you cant hear people sitting far away from you due to the loud music. we dont wanna meet up to drink highly-priced coffee and get our ear-drums blasted out... we wanna chat.... so i think we should meet someplace which is quiet.

the problem with meeting up in food / coffee places is that usually ( couldnt make it to the last PG meet, so dunno how that went ), people turn up, have coffee / food, talk to their immediate neighbours and leave....

ok, this is gonna sound a bit corny..... but how about meeting up in one of the parks ? there's tons of space and fresh air...... maybe afterwards we can go to have dinner someplace.

1st or 2nd saturday ( 5th / 12th ) of may is fine. cant make on 19th...

cheers,
Harshad

I would agree with Harshad as far as the question of space goes...The University is also a pretty good place to meet...but dont expect to find anything decent to eat....

Re: Pune PG Meet - The Season Finale - 23-04-2007, 03:30 PM

The idea of meeting in a park is corny indeed...but very interesting. The way i imagine it is we all wud be sitting in a big circle and talking!...I dont mind it a bit but i am not too sure how many ppl wud be adventurous for that kind of a thing!

I guess coming up with venues wont be a big issue, whats more important is how to make it more involving and fun.

Two ways come to my mind....

1. Chit Chat +Food
If its chit chat that we want to do....then nothin beats coffee! We can then proceed to an eating joint for dinnr/lunch.
I suppose this is the standard structure of meets;spend time together...talk talk talk blah blah blah....feel hungry and then eat!
Venue Options: Upper Floor MOCHA!

2.Activity +Food
If its something different we want then we can make it more involving physically for everyone.(u do get tired of talking after sometime!)

Maybe we can hang out at an activity based venue(say a bowling alley or watch a movie) and then proceed for grub.

Again...the peeps decide.Me wud be ok with anything

Re: Pune PG Meet - The Season Finale - 23-04-2007, 04:31 PM

Have added a poll based on the posts made so far. as for me I am for the 12/13 weekend preferably 13th May.I might, just might be busy on the 5/6 weekend. Vote in the poll and then we can decide the date. this is a multiple option polls. So you can vote for all dates convenient to you

As far as the venue goes, lets see if we can get any more suggestions. Anyone for a bike ride to nearby places like Sinhagad etc in the afternoon followed by dinner?

Nikhil a bike ride will make it a kinda individual thing...

Anyways guys all of us guys could go bowling at Destination Fun its a pretty big place and we will have loads of places to sit around in a group... can have fun to while we do the same...

The place is equidistant from both Aundh and Camp...
