Chennai PG meet on 30th SEP!!

hey guys gr8 initiative.. was looking forward to a PG meet in chennai... i always felt chennai was a matter of cold-shoulder for everyone n was being neglected.. but its gr8 to see tat we finally have a PG meet on d cards in chennai..

my take on d dates... how about sometime in MAY when most of us r done wid d exams n don't ve any committments hopefully!! till den happy puying guys..

Last time, 8 guys turned up. Search for the meet - it's somewhere in the Chit-Chat section. Funny thing is, for the Chennai PG meet, out of the 9 people...

4 were Mallus
2 were Hyderabadis
1 was Kolkatan
1 was Chennaiite

Hope to get the representative ratio up..!!

But we had a great meet - in Chennai City Center... Had pizza... Subbu the mod (who's recently tied the knot!) told us a bit of PG history (he's been around since the thing started!!). And this time I haev rounded up quite a few people who will be dead interested in this... We'll show those Mumbaikars and Bangaloreans about Chennai being dormant, PG wise

We may end up having two meets - but don't worry.. One will definitely take place in May!

I actually did give out a clarion call for the last time we were supposed to meet... Somehow Chennai puys seem veery enthu when plans are being made but people slink out somehow :crying:

Let's correct that record..!!!!

Hmmmm... So let's meet after the 12th, then.

We'll do it this way: We'll start off with the 14th, then as people start complaining saying they have to stay overtime at _ _ _ (software company ) doing some important work, or have some silly exam at college or something, we can keep shifting it... Deadline for the meet is May 17, because the next day I leave for Ahmedabad

PS: If there are any ladies reading this thread but are apprehensive of joining in, please join in! You have nothing to fear! We are a bunch of very nice guys who just talk about our careers, dreams, PaGaLGuY, the ocassional cricket, Chennai weather, a few stupid PJs and stuff. We need to improve the gender ratio which is abysmal (9-0 at the last meet )
