after reading a lot of interesting posts in this thread, lemme tell what PG means to me.

as everyone else here i too wanted to do my MBA and how i came to know about PG is written here

now in the initial days, PG for me was a forum where i thought u just ask questions to ppl who share the same dream as u do, and like any newbie who joins here i have opened a couple of threads with silly questions. the threads got locked with brief description saying please refer here and refer there, and i thought what crap of a forum is this.

after being on PG for some 8-9 months, in january of 2006 when i got 98% in XAT and a call from XIMB, someone from my interview group asked me am i in PG, i said yes, to which he replied that he followed my posts. this left me totally stumped cause till then whenever i posted something on PG i never realised the fact that i wld actually be read and judged by many.

PG to me today is very different from what it was when i joined. it is something where i feel i am a part of, some kind of an exclusive club, where i feel i can share things which wld be read by some of the smartest ppl. and a place where 2 years of my life is archived

but the only thing i hate, is when ppl come to me and say "hey whats written in ur address bar PAA----GAAAAL---GUUUUY, does that mean ur a psycho" and i have to go about telling how different PG is and what it is all about.

pagalguy.com, I came to know abt this before around one yr. ago.. How..?? lemme share it with u... It was my first job, and it was related with research abt d b-schools for a leading coaching instt i.e. my work place.. My boss told me sm website frm where i cud get data, pguy ws 1 of dm... i took it vry lightly, whenever i used to type nything related to b-school in google, pguy wud b there on 4th or 5th no.. i started clicking on that link to check out wht'z ds pguy all abt (meanwhile i'v heard abt pguy frm couple of my colleague).. whenever i visited on d link, i found comments frm sm1 on my prb., i used to read'n close... initially i never tried to know anything beyond that it's a blogging site... in oct. i.e. 2 month after i came to know abt pguy.. i've joined it... and i kept it open for continuously 6 hrs.. and after that i had special feeling for the rest of the day'n night... i found it so amazing dt i've told abt it to evry well known person i've met that day.. i became addicted to it, after few days and i got complaint from CEO dt i'm not performing worthy act during d working hrs.
I had meeting vd him, told him abt pguy.. convinced dt it's vry useful for my research (although i was using personally :wink after a long discussion he gave me permission to use it for 2hrs in a day.. but dt wasn't enough for me, i used to go to my LG's home and surf it for more 2-3 hrs. unfortunatly my LG's left d city and nw i can't use it.. still i fully utilise it within 2 official hrs and on sunday i go to cyber-cafe..
most pleasent surprise for me while using pagalguy.com is behavior of puys, it's unbelievable.. each'n evry1 think himself responsible for following pguy rules, vry much helping 4each other.. in this concern i feel pguy brough me back to my village(i've spent initial 17 yr. of my life there) where ppl r so much helpful.. i don't remember a single time when i didn't get ans ny of my query..
For research work, my all team is big supporter of google.. but whenever we've discussion abt google, i keep pguy equelent to it... i always have a hard arguments with them... as d result my colleague started calling me pagalroy.. (roy resembels vd my name)...

The day I joined Pagalguy I never thought I would written some 282 posts, including this one..
At first I thought it would be some ordinary forum like every1 else..
But i was wrong, and i'm happy that i was wrong..

The vast range of advice, the materials, the help has proved to be a boon for me in securing an admission into NMIMS..
The TEE's are simply awesome.. I flaunt it whenever i get time.. Mind it i'm doing free publicity for PG but i dont mind, its worth to publicize a good forum..

One important thing is I access this site even when i'm too much loaded with work or when I'm very much free.. Suits for every time and mood..

I hope I continue this relationship with PG forever
