Huccome no posts on yest's meet yet?
okie..here goes...
All of 11 puys attended yesterday's meet at Eat Street...but fewer ppl hardly meant lesser fun
first the attendees:

Unfortunately,we didn't discuss the splitting of sub atomic particles or dwarf planets,as planned
(read Vkris post above on this page
),but discussed every other possible issue,starting frm the intros (y is Rahulworld's nick that when his name's not Rahul,y is urs truly calling herself Back,who posts more,who's gotten more groans and how to improve the ratio
) moving on to the inevitable CAT scores to some threads on PG ,who's currently active on UDT GD/PI (Anarchy gets max appreciation here
) ,the retest issue,GMAT thread (Neo2000 recollecting some 'funny' cases) to reservation to advertisements to K-serials to old TV shows to engineers doing MBA to news channels to community service in Hyd, back to the PIL against IIMs,then moving onto football, to cricket (whew! think I missed something out
) oh yea...bombay's local trains and the expressway were discussed in great detail
Ofcourse,I was only listening most of the time to all the amazing discussions
(and when conv turned to football and cricket,it became listening ALL the time
)
sleepygollum was the most silent one,but his 2 or 3 interventions had us all cracking up (esp the child and TV remote one
)it was a chilly evening (oh yea..discussed the cold days in the north too somewhr in between
) most of us were shivering out there by the lake..(Ashish got chided for getting his mind off today's exam, thanks to the weather
)
Then all,except Ashish Banaya and Sid_dharth, moved onto dinner...went to Ohri's Jiva..where, lucky guys,
there were 2 screens showing the India-SA match (3 counting the mirror image..I couldn't even stare into space in peace
) anyway,dinner was just as it was supposed to be..more eating peppered with some talking
talks veered around fav movies,hobbies,books and other topics where u didn't have to think much
ended with trying to identify the guy who served us and the guy who cleared the plates, in order to tip them (hehe,tat's funny in hindsight,u kno
) and finally deciding that this meet was real fun and that we should have atleast one a month..
hmmm...think I covered almost all of it..exercised my memory cells after a long time
only sad thing is that none of us brought a cam..so no pics this time..
on the whole..a very enjoyable meet...
waiting for the others to post too..
