What's the reason behind that odd username???

for timepass....there are lots of usernames on PG which are really weird(like t2s or trep or names like sambar and all )

i guess there'll be some pretty interesting reasons behind them so what are they???and what is the significance of those numbers in ur username? (like the numbers after vikram's username (meetvicky28) (it's not his birthdate !!)

the obvious ones need no explanation of course, like the 001 in shub's username (shub001)

and i forgot simba!!! what is it - ur petname or somethin??

well buddy....this post of urs has sure made me think...(considering the fact tat i dont often do that...its quite some effort...).....anyways coming to the point that why the hell i choose this username :"abrakadabra"....believe u me...i have no reason to justify the selection of tis abstract name........blame it on my largely empty, unused and more or less assorted cerebral hemisphere.

CIAO (I don't really know what CIAO means but it should be Italian for bye).

P.S. I would appreciate if someone would explain the word CIAO to me.

:P :P Well I am still going to give my explanation for 001 part

Once upon a time, 19th December 2001 to be precise, I was creating a new ID on Yahoo! , coz my old ID was getting too much spam, I had given that ID on every damn site I had visited

So I tried everything, but all the usernames including shub were taken. So then finally I started with numbers coz I did not want a long ID , wanted an easy to remember email ID. 007 was available but I thought that wud just be a cheap copy of Mr bond, so tried number 1 instead of number 7 and I GOT THAt.

Since then shub001 has been my ID on every site, I mean if you can get an ID on yahoo and hotmail then you can get it on any website, and if any site says that the username is not available , that just reminds me that I had registered on that site long back and had forgotten about it

It can mean the Columbian International Affairs Online or the Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office , but ya before u roll ur eyes , it is both Hello and Bye in Italian

Since m here , can't resist letting out the secret? behind my username , well, its all in the name , may god be praised that have been lucky enough to have been able to keep my name as an id , Amen !
