Well i had thought out my username 2years ago. When i just completed my btech and was heading for a MS . 2 days before i was going to fly, i told my dad that i wanted to do a MBA from the India  .
Juxtapose- unexpected combinations of colors, shapes and ideas,and it was 'insane' of me to turn down my ms from a top 10 university,but the lust for a MBA from IIMs,IIFT,XLRI etc made me do so .But another 'insane juxtapose' happened in my life. I was sent on a project to the US the same year,just when i was beginning to become a NRI, i realized my MBA dream and came back. This yr i want to end my 'insanejuxtaposes'
I keep getting these insane juxtaposes' again & again which sane people fail to understand but my fellow puys do understand the passion for the Institutes here ! 
Thats the story of the 'insane juxtapose'

LOL! Didn't know this thread existed!!! Thanks to all who have addressed my curiosity about your usernames...
Before I tell you about my user name, I would like to tell you a story about a boy. Circa 2000. Camera zooms to a boy who has this incurable habit of cracking some of the worst PJs in the world, quite a few of which involving principles of the Special Theory of Relativity or Darwin's theory of natural selection.
As you can probably imagine, the aftermath of most of his jokes would involve him imploring his audience to check 'eets'(it) the concepts behind the joke...Consequently, he would be the only guy ROTFLing, while his 'audience' groaned perceptibly and formed another peer group minus 'the boy'.
Such incidents have scarred me for life. But I have wisened up. I now crack the conventional Software/knock-knock/blondies/George-Bush jokes with a couple of Sardarji/Russian ones thrown in here and there(at the rist of being branded a racist (WHICH I'M NOT btw).
People still ignore me while I talk and form their peer groups without me, but my name is now permanently "Check-Eets"(Mr. eets on formal occasions or Checki during informal ones), so much so that once my manager was surprised to find me grouped along with the 'Vishals' and the 'Vinods'. He asked me to join the 'Chinmays' and 'Chetans'...That's it. I couldn't take it any more. 
I screamed at him "MY NAME IS VIVEK! GET IT??? VIVEK!!!"

aha...! a nice thread...a welcome breather from the usual hustle bustle. 
The name is Anshuman and I am a hardcore heavy metal fan (not the ones you find in the periodic table ), hence the username. I am a member of the 'Metal Archives', and my profile name there is MetallosaurusRex. It was too long so removed the Rex part. I am the biggest Slayer fan alive (self-proclaimed  ). If you have heard nothing more than Metallica, Linkin Park, SOAD, Disturbed, and the likes, please don't call yourself a metalhead. Else I would have to pawn you into oblivion (which frankly I don't like), which can result in your serious lack of self-esteem.
I'm a fun-loving, peaceful person, but just hate posers. I enjoy intelligent discussions which are helpful to most people.

I like to grow, open new doors, explore new things. I find bliss in stepping into uncharted territories, in learning new things, in discovering anything and everything under the sun. As they say - " Don't go through life, grow through life".
The only thing I like about a baby is his/her positive attitude to learn. Give then something new and they will meddle around it till the time they discover that it's of no use. .
Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up. :angel::angel:

Hii all,even though my username would apparently appear to be pretty normal & quite obviously it is(since it is my name after all),just thought would elaborate on why it is my name!!
I have realised over the past 21 years of my existence that most people do not have a fair idea as to what Nitesh actually means.Well,tells me it isnt a very common form of nomenclature & which is why I am posting on this thread..
Nitesh essentially means Everyday's God or Follower of the Correct Way or please search google some more (not quite my traits,but they call me god so hell,yeah who cares ).As far as my surname is concerned,Kam-Mat,now read that in hindi,u get to know what I am trying to convey.So,a God who doesnt have to work is the conclusive definition of my name(yeah,thats wat it is not because I say so,but coz that's my name goddamn it:detective: ).
PS:Wish my name works for me during mba admissions(lolz)

I don have a interesting story to offer. Its a combination of my last name and my first name. And I have used this ID on almost all the sites that i have registered on.
Tre(han) + Vis(hal) = TreVis

Wel when I made this username, I was only(I repeat only) thinking of CAT...and CAT CAT CAT...there rang the bell..Catalyst...and trust me PG has been a superb Catalyst towards my dream!
The year was 2008, so it became Catalyst2008
