Haloo folks!
I'm looking for people who've decent php and design skills. I've been looking for someone to work on our portal 'skin'. If you have the requisite skills do get in touch with me through Y! or reply on this thread right away. If you are crazy enough to work for us and are interested in creating a 'world class' portal - then get in touch with me asap.
Cheers,
PS: If you are aware of mySQL, it would be an added advantage. | | | | | | | |

Hey PG, why not migrate to a powerful CMS for the portal. It could be any of the open source or paid one, I recommend Mambo to everyone.
I'm a "self-proclaimed" ( ) Open source CMS expert, temme if you need to fix on any CMS for the portal so that visitors get a dose of daily news, useful articles and other useful features.
Thanks!

We tried mambo and then chucked it. Templating was a pain and it couldn't work with VB and a common registration userbase
And yes, we use a powerful CMS , this one suits our needs better Quote: |

Well, I understand things with Mambo and VB integration are bit difficult, but there are some paid components available to make things work. Skinning is not a big problem too with Macromedia Dreamweaver, abundance of templates are there too.
Still, if Mambo does not fit the bill, have a look at Subdreamer ( www.subdreamer.com), it fits nicely with VB and no skinnig required as it makes its own CSS according to your forum template. FYI, we're using this at www.techenclave.com.

^^ Yeah Sourabh, you'r right! Looked carefully at the PHP sessions, its got to be Subdreamer.
But hey, why not utilize it to full potential, I mean look at the CSS structure of www.techenclave.com and its VB matching CSS. We can have that kinda stuff here too...
