I should not call this a suggestion but just an thot which is open to debate. Out of the 28460 PG members as of the time of my post, only 1% of them actually do participate quite regularly ( just a rough estimate).
Now will it b possible for PG to highlight those 1% who r very frequently online an do contribute meaningfully to this forum. ( not crap posts) there can b a time limit and if the Pagal doesnt log in or contribute anythng to the forum beyond that limit, he can be declared out of status. | Its a technical issue to modify the software accordingly .. but then even it can't be perfect. Not everyone logs in, and loads of people have contributed, while others dont. Its a part and parcel of being a forum

After reading GOVAR's interview couple of things came to my mind
1) The target of the intrws i believe is to highlight life at B-skool.. how about having articles writen by alumni or school students on the institute perse
for eg.. infrastructure, fields school excel in, faculty, hostel food ,admin etc etc..
Having such a repository would help many janta to finalize their choices.
2) I had no idea we had a B-skool news section on the portal.. How about having a closed thread (similar to moCAt thread) .. where upadtes and links to article on the portal can be given.. to be frank i rarely visit the portal and would miss many announcements

If you want to know more about the instt, you should visit their websites . Regarding articles by alumni on their own schools, its tough to find someone be impartial. We've had enough of "My Daddy Strongest" and sadly such articles bring out the worst in human nature
The idea of the interviews is to give you an idea of the PG junta and their respective schools and more insight into why they made the decisions they did.
Regarding no idea abt the Bschool news section.. um.. well.. start browsing the portal carefully Loads more scheduled @ PG Quote: |

Hi Mods,
here is one suggestion. You must have observed, lots of spamming,one-liners occur when results are expected(even of MOCKS!!!).if u will see ,all india free aimcat thread, there were numerous and irrelevant posts, like when is the result coming etc etc.agreed ,pagals are anxious but i think lessons need to be learned.if u can issue a warning that no speculation until results come( i know it applies to the b-skools results, but we need it for mocks too) then people may restrain.if someone is found posting messages like the above, he should be given a warning...or may be a ban of one day.i think thats the only way to synchrinze the chaos here!!

My first suggestion....Dunno if it's been said before or if it can be done...Whenever we run a search, the results shown do not show how they are relevant to our search keywords and trust me lots of seemingly irrelevant looking threads come up...Is there some way in which the keyword can be highlighted or something???
Wud help noobs, n reduce the no. of new threads coming up because of inability to find similiar threads....
