I am not sure if this has been asked earlier, or if there is a provision already provided for it...
Is there a way to subscribe to users like we subscribe to threads?
I mean if I want to keep track of posts from made_for_iims, or sumitrocks...i can subscribe to them...& whenever they post,be it on any thread, I get an email similar to what we get for subscribed threads...
cause it is a tad difficult to keep track of the new threads starting at all times & we usually are able to know about only those threads we have subscribed to, plus this will help in keeping track of our favorite spammers
cheers... Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to be lazy... mich on orkut | | | | | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to Jok3r For This Useful Post:

Hi. First of all i am really delighted to c all pagalguyz working hard for MBA aspirants. I feel that there is a need for the people to know the exact number of seats available in each college and in each category. For example if jamnalal bajaj has 120 seats then only 40 of these seats are available for the open category . If a comprehensive list is provided then we are in a better position to understand the competition we are facing . I guess most people are not aware of the less number of seats bcoz of the quota system which favours obc and other castes. I do hope that my suggestion is considered.
Thank you | | | | | | | |

Getting email notifications for posts is a very irritating factor. I have had to create a special mail ID just to make sure that my other important mails are not lost in the deluge of the notifications.
Another issue:
When i do a user search on this thread; I am shown the list of posts by him/her. However, when i try opening one of those posts, the next page from where the post is present is displayed.

I suggest you create a new ID, specifically for the notifications only. Then go this link ( http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/profil...o=editpassword) and change the email ID to that one. You won't need to access this ID another time until and unless you forget your password, eh?

All those permalinks and such work only if you're following the default view settings. i cannot use permalinks - I follow a different setting, that's why... Check it out.
