just go the sent folder , select the messages u want to delete by ticking the box ... and then move to extreme bottom there is menu / drop menu saying ... selected messages.....select Delete and GO and the job is done

Hey PG,

I saw 'RED' Colored COMMAS(,) in the "who's online" section...

this thing is that only those ",s" were RED those were appearing after the names -after your name...WHOA...grammar ki vaat laga di maine

TESTING chal raha hain??

EDIT - Is it allowed to give out e-mail addresses and tel no. out while posting in a thread??
Earlier it wasnt allowed....but have seen several ppl breaching this thing off late...

LOL..those red commas.. I dont know why they are that way.. but may be due to the skin we're using. But since its not such a big deal, lets just consider it a FEATURE instead of a bug

Regarding the email Ids and tel nos, YES! do report em so that we can smack the kids around

Talking of people who create ids and then just disappear without a single post, there is another kind of junta that I find particularly irritating. These are the ppl who just log in, look at the posts abt CAT prep or GD/PI exp and NEVER ever make a contri of their own

One fine day you see FIRST AND LAST post from them saying 'Hey! I made it to this b-school. PG was such a big help .. blah blah' and then just disappear without a trace

I wish there was some way of giving one hard whack on the head for such ppl through the internet

Its not that I am taking the high moral ground or something, but it really makes me wonder sometimes abt how ppl can be like that. I understand not everyone will want to post at any given chance. Some ppl are generally silent observing types, but how is it possible that you'll not even help others out with some quant prob or write ur GD experience. Its probably too much to expect them to contribute in Zingo bhau's

effort, so I'll not even get into that. But how do you deal with such ppl? I think these are the two non-productive types - a) Ppl who create ids and then go to sleep

and b) Freeriders who milk PG to the max and disappear

a) should be handled with some kinda grace period. Wotsay Allwin and mods? I really think so. I am pretty sure atleast 1000 such ids exist. I don't know how b) can be dealt with

well i cant say much abt ppl not contributing coz maybe they r having dial up connection or some other problems
but surely this problem of too many redundant ids should be dealt with ................
any mods listening............
even if some ppl dont contribute there exp of gd/pi i think there will always be enough gud janta who wants to share there experiences

Well, yes .. people could have a dial-up. So do I .. that has never stopped me from posting.

I would like to add that the spirit of this forum is in co-operation between ppl who are essentially competing against each other to get into some of the best b-schools in the country. But it is probably upto each individual to decide how much they want to co-operate and help each other. Anyways I don't want to get into some debate abt all this. It is something I have noticed and don't happen to like, thats all.

i had this query is there any way of finding all the posts made during a time period say between 8am to 10pm .............if say i dont wanna use 'new posts' rather will wish to see all the posts made during the day .............any syntax there?

Thts wunderful... but I wud like to know wot is the 'due treatment' u r talking abt? Is any policy/measure being under consideration, or is decided upon?

To check spamming spree(s), I wud say, instead of karma pts, we shud rather hv spam pts... n at least the modz shud hv access to the specific posts which get the 'spam votes'... n once the spam count crosses a certain mark, certain kinda warning/temporary ban frm posting can be thought of... wot say, modz?
