Stern warnings et al have been provided umpteen times in umpteen threads. Its just that folks choose not to read and rehash the same queries. Today seems pretty sane , hopefully people are reading the announcement and will adhere to the same

I wunder whats it with the people not going thru the announcements n rules b4 posting. Offlate umpteen duplicate threads have been created and locked. Goes on only to increase the mods burden.

Wunder if we shud hava pop kinds informing the users to first read the rules and then only jump on to creating threads.

Are there any exceptions, for eg under the current rules will it be illegal to post the links to the so called leaked CAT results

Remember at that time many people thougth that posting the link was a coup for PG and I dont see any reason to think otherwise now.

Incase the user is sure beyond resonable doubt that the link is genuine then why should he wait till it appears in the institute main page.

if it kind of reduces stress and anxiety then why not?.....

No exceptions. Yes, it would be illegal. Its not a coup to reverse engineer a result link. When an institute has not released the result officially, its NOT READY. There is no question about reasonable doubt et al. It doesn't reduce stress and anxiety because NO one knows for a fact if the result is right. Last year the MICA result changed twice due to such links and people in the last once where not there the 2nd time when the result was officially result.

So, no links unless its official. period.

wow...didnt check PG for 2 days and it looks like the Gestapo has come calling here!! If PG were a gal i swear she were having a very bad mad PMS!! ... hmmm some things we guys do seem to drive even pagal guy real pagal!!

somehow i found alvin saying im new to PG really funny coz there are a few of us who assume PG shares that name!!

These are usually called phishing sites. Places which ask you for a login/pass and there is no guess on which pass you might enter. Desperate folks enter their email logins/passwords and what not. You'd end up handing over all your info to a scam website. All the more reason such stuff has to be taken care of.

Plus after plugging our announcement in every section of the forum, I am not feeling too sympathetic for the folks I am banning. All yee folks .. READ first, post later. Don't axe your own foot.
