Hello Folks,

There are a extremely high number of redundant threads coming up. Mods are extremely busy and unable to catch up with all of them. I would request you to please enforce a little self moderation and also inform posters about possible double threads. So all you regular folks, just help us around during this period to keep SPAM and double posting to a minimum so that we can have better and structured threads available for everyone.

If the mods miss out anything, do PM them.

i guess u should give the LOCKING powers to OLD FOXES for the coming week so that the present MOD SQUAD have a bit less work to do.

Coz right now the main prob as u rightly pointed out is MULTIPLE THREADS & SPAMMING.

Guys.....I am not really sure how many of u had a dekko @ the CAT forum today....it literally looks like a dumpyard with loads of locked threads...And more and more new ones coming up !!! As Allwin said, plz do co-operate with us and observe some kinda self-moderation.....Oldies could help us a LOT in this ....One by informing the n00bs, two, by informing the mods of redundant threads so we could lock them, and three, by not adding to the clutter currently there

Guys, plz do understand...Past coupla days have been real hectic, for more reasons than one.... And last thing all of us would like to see is the forum becoming a dumping ground for any and every frivolous thought that a n00b might get !!!

hey Mods and Old Foxes/Horses/Other preferred species

How about a poll for the top 10 threads currently.
Or the count of replies in a thread > 20 in a day (or any other siutable no.)

All other threads deserve a purge with imm effect, at least in these hectic times.

A poll , open for a day will give us the democratic principle figleaf for teh drastic and unpopular operation

Do let us know of which threads to vote against ,or for !

how about stopping all new thread processes and asking mods for any new threads......just for a short period of time...........i know this ll put load on the mods........but atleast it ll keep the forum clean...........its tough to find threads of relevance in all that trash...........
