When I first came to PG, I didn't know the difference between a forum and a thread. In fact the first message I posted was by creating a new thread (which was eventually locked and I was directed to the right place).

So I think when a new guy joins, he should be explained the meaning of all the PG lingo first alongwith a list of Do's and Dont's. This information is there in some thread, but I read it after having already found out the hard way

The thread that I created first was still there for quite a few days. I really don't see the point in locking a thread instead of just deleting it like ketanm suggested.
But there might be some reason, remember I'm still a n00bie :wink:

Really sorry but I just created a thread ...a new topic really sorry for that....I will go ahead and delete the same soon as possible....

And personaly I think that while one joins this forum instead of having to accept thru the usual terms and conditions....we can have some important reules maybe rule 1 to 10 or to make it simpler rule 1 to 5 in bold and page wise so that noo users are forced to read thru and it needs to be simple too...importantly...

Anyways other than that I'll surely let the other noobies out here by telling them that they shouldnt be doing things that they are not supposed to.......
