in reply to ur query whthr iim gives weightage to acads or not i wud say it depends year on year..i mean this yr iim may give more weightage to acads but next yr may not. if u score a good percentle in cat it surpasses all...at least iimc doesnt bothr acads to much..aur ek baat..yeh acads ka funda works for engineers..so many engg. students crack cat thts y to eliminate some of them acads factor comes in. u r frm bcom backgrnd..so if u fetch 99+ pc rest assured u'd get an iim call !!!once i had an informal discussion wid an iit prof and an iim prof togethr (on the last day in iit) and i had a fair idea of their thotline !!...so start working hard for cat frm 2day itself!!

hi joy thanks so much for helping me out.ur suggestions are relief to me. smtimes i do stupid things.well not smtimes but most of the times.i have taken the wierdest of decisions in my life like one when i quit engg inspite of havin e&tc and takin admission in a private college when i already had a choice of a govt one.now i have to be in a batch of commerce students in T.I.M.E ,where the teachers spend hours in explainin even simple topics.well i dont care.but my confidence levels are dipping to new lows as i think if i dont get a good b school il have no future.and my dad isnt gonna help me in anyway n il have to do everything for myself.i m so helpless i m finding the mock cats very tough. there go my dreams in the garbage bin! i know u r already succesful Joy.but still,best of luck n a happy life forever
