Hi Nitin,
ForIIT,MBA they look for only engg grads. But I can tell you Just because you are an art grad u will not (NOT) be rejected in GD. In GD , talk should have some meaning and facts. Need to contextual rather than just english speaking. Put across your ideas structured and to the point even though u need not dominate but your facts dominate at a particular point in time. Arts grads do well better than science based or engg deg grads. U must have studied lot of gen subjects which help you doing your MBA. Do it.
