i just need great help of some great ppl like u.. and i know i cant get something like ths except PG..

hiii.....this is abhisek....i am in my 4rth yr of my b.tech..i am in electrical stream.....but the saddest part is.....i am yet to grab a job for my self......so wat do you think i need to do now...??? i am interested in getting employed in the IT companies.....considering my stream....wat do u people think my next step should be.....??

I am Rahul doing my 4th year in Civil Engineering. I dropped a year during my second year, actually flunked in 5 subjects due to some personal problems. Due to the rules of VTU I retain the same percentage that is a lowly 40% in 4th sem.
IIMs or any good management institute require a good academic background. Presently my percentage is 57% or 60% if you add on the pass marks. I am preparing hard for CAT, SNAP and XAT. I also got good percentiles in all mock cats i wrote ,95+. What do you think are my chances of getting into these institutes(very low I think:(). I am a member of the chess team and toastmasters. My 10th aggregate is 88% and 12th aggregate is 71%. Please reply. Any help will be really appreciated.
Hi Guys.. This is Suyash.. I'm studying at Aston University in Birmingham, UK pursuing Electronics Engg with Computre Science.. I've completed 2 years and am currently doing my placement year working for ExxonMobil in Southampton as a Business I.T. Analyst.. I thought it would be best to make use of the free evenings and weekends and hence, am preparing for the GMAT which I intend to give around July/August next year before starting off with my final year at university.. lukin fwd to learnin from d veterans out thr and sharing stuff with other GMAT aspirants..!! have been studyin abt an hour a day for the past 1 month.. Books I've bought till now:-
1. Princeton Review
2. OG 11
3. Kaplan
Almost finished the Princeton book... had some nice tips abt SC's and Data Sufficiency.. any ideas or tips or any fellow aspirants using the same resources?? cheers..

Though i m a CAT aspirant for last 2 yrs but cudnt achieve out of any thing......passed out in 2006(B.tech in Mech. engg.).
