Hi,
I'm Saurabh Mehra, currently doing my MBA (in 2nd yr) from Army Institute of Management, Kolkata. My CAT 2007 score was 91%ile. I don't really remember my sectional scores to tell the truth.

Anyway, Army Institute of Management, or as we call it affectionately (and for the sake of brevity), AIMK, is located in Alipore, Kolkata neat the Command Hospital. It is little known outside Army circles because of the exclusivity of the admitted students (well most of them anyway) as 80% of them are from army background.

However, in the 12-odd years of its existence, AIM has come a long way, to stand 2nd only to IIM Calcutta in the East Zone.

That was about AIM.


As for me, I'm a happy go lucky person with background in Computer Science, and majoring in Marketing in my MBA. I'm gonna be a banker soon, as an MNC bank has selected me during a recent campus placement visit.

I'm a strong believer in Karma and yet, paradoxically, I always get this sense of an inevitability of fate.

Enough about me, there'll be more to come in the next few weeks.
