I'm having a major issue with Net Access for the last 2/3 days. If it continues today - I would have to not move the forum - Hoping the net issue sorts itself out before we start the move.

LOL .. Sorry guys - no move this weekend. My net connect hasn't been working well and I have to push the date to sometime during the weekdays.

I am hoping my connect gets back to normal asap.

Server move is on. The DNS has been changed. Propagation period is estimated to be around 12 - 14 hours starting now. So by Wednesday afternoon the propagation will be done and then we will sync the DB and hopefully everything will be working.

I will be working on adding php accelerators to the setup to reduce loading time after the move is over.

Ok couldn't resist. The php accelerators have been installed on the new server

.. The thing is .. I don't know if they will work!

Since its experimental and we are adding mod_gzip and Turck MMCache:

I expect problems to surface after the move is over. So relax through the errors .. will swat em one by one. Hopefully we'll be happy to see a top notch tuned server that will last us .... err.. atleast a year ?

Um.. am a bit surprised here that the move has gone through easily. Err. OK.. not so easily ... had to work for 6 hours to get it straight.

But I am more interesting in seeing if you junta see any visible speed issues or configuration issues which might come up.

At this point all the data has been moved and resetup. I want to know if you guys come across any errors/slowdowns ..
