Heralding Change! -

Heylos all 
Its that time of the year. Yeah, time to whisper in some change. We have updated various sections of the forum with bigger/better/greater/safer stuff. Here goes:
- Skin Update: The skin has been updated to reflect changes in the underlying software. A direct result of that is Thanks/Groans are back! Along with various other visual enhancements. For instance, all threads that contain a poll show up as yellow. The threads you are subscribed to show up as green.
- Arcade: The arcade has been updated with new games and a new layout. Go have a blast! :snipersm:
- Shoutbox: Images work! Yay!
 Its much faster now and gives us fewer headaches here at the HQ. For the geeks out there, it does not pre-cache the images on every page load. And it allows us to set a pre-set gap between AJAX refreshes.
So there it is. Do check out all the cool new stuff (and the old stuff repolished) and give us your feedback in this thread. If there are any pressing problems then drop me a PM and I'll usually get back within 24 hours. Hey I gotta eat/sleep too

one thing i noticed this morning
when im in my user cp and open say the 3rd page of a particular thread i have been subscribed to, then after checking that thread when i go back to my user cp, i still see the thread displayed there
whereas if i click on the last page link, then the thread is gone from my user cp
why is that?

That has nothing to do with the changes in the forum.. It has always been this way..
The default setting for usercp is that it shows you "subscribed threads with unread posts" with the latest replied to thread at the top. Now when you click on the last page of a particular thread from usercp, that means the status of the thread is changed from "unread" to "read" and hence you do not see it in the usercp any longer. But when you click on any other page of the thread "eg 3 as you specified" the status of the thread is still "unread" and hence the thread is still visible in the usercp.

Its right there... At the top of your post, not in the title. At the top, the post title is repeated, alongwith the date & time of post. Though, why repeat the title, I think.

Yes when the title is not changed for the posts its a waste..But if sub titled appropriately it is very helpful i feel.Not many change the title for the posts.Like the upteen no of forwards we get by mail the title gets repeated..
Or better still if we could have the smaller title to the left act as post title..That would be good!:neutral:
