Hey guys,
We've merged the Suggestions and Announcement forums and also the Articles Discussion and Spotlight section. There wasn't as much traffic on the individual sections and we have combined them to reduce page load times.
Furthermore, we have also reduced the number of posts per page. This will help you browse faster through the website. So as an after effect you might have noticed that some of the threads have a lot more pages now. 
Rest assured, all your intra-forum links will not be affected

BTW, is the change in removing the preview of the present signature while changing the signature a part of the changes? Hope the 700 character limit has disappeared. I'd love to have all the importan links in my signatures...

Anything else we could do to ensure a better browsing experience? | After experiencing this for about a month now,I don't think its a nice thing.It was better to have less no. of pages with numerous posts in each page than to have lots of pages with only a countful posts in each page.
To be honest,it's irritating.1st you wait for the page to load and then when it has loaded there is such less no. of posts in it that soon you will have to click for previous pages and then wait again.Besides,with more no. of posts being there in the same page its easier to see posts in their context.
Please give it a thought,do some more data collection if you want and then let there be atleast some more posts per page.

Andy | Its something I am looking into. The trouble is longer pages also increase page load timings. Also we are looking into shaving the weight off our pages by moving towards a more text based skin. More gyaan, lesser images.
