Copy-pasting my post from another similar thread.. Have mailed Apurv and Rajat (StupiDeity) on this matter, but posting here as well.. Can the database of PG Connect now be erased to make it relevant for the current season? It serves hardly any purpose to hv the earlier admit season schedules of Puys at the top, and the current season gets queued at the bottom.. Although I personally feel tht it is because the calls hv only just begun arriving.. but if it was intentional (so tht the first-timers may get in touch with the been-there-done-that Puys), I wud suggest to either shift it to the bottom of the list or make a separate database for the previous admit season.. | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to buck_was For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

Prime Numbers are what is left when you have taken all the patterns away. I think prime Numbers are like life. They are very logical but you could never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about them.

Probable Fix: It would make sense to design the permalink by post number only, not posting page number, which is not fixed for different view options. | This old an issue should've been resolved by now. The permalink isn't the permanent link to a post especially to those of us who view 20 posts or more per page.
The fix of course is, as stated above, to remove the page number in the URL and just keep the post number. Though the link [the post number] to the left of the permalink does this, it doesn't show the posts around it.. And ppl prefer using the permalink. ^The Post is Up there^ CAT 07: 96.56% (QA-88.82,DI-98.75,VA-74.4) Converts: ? Rejects: IMI,IMT, NITIE CAT 08: Target locked-on. Rebelspeak

No idea if this has been mentioned before.
I made a post on thread A.I could see thread A highlighted in green colour in its relevant section(Chit-Chat,etc.) when I am logged in.
Later on this thread A is merged to thread B.Now,I do not see the thread B in green colour which should not be the case as I have technically got a post in thread B. dunno how much work will be involved..
but why not a pagalguy tool bar for IE/ Firefox?
It would be super cool to have a drop down box with links like subscribed threads/ private messages which would give you instant access no matter which web page you are on.
EDIT
my bad, found that there is actually something like this.. http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/chit-c...s-forum-2.html (Browser Friendly Add-ons for Forum)
couldnt check it here at office with lack of admin privileges NIT Calicut 2001-2005 Tata Motors 2005-2008 IIM Indore 2008-2010 Pagalguy 2007- eternity

Also, when you post in a thread that you are not subscribed to, you are automatically subscribed to the thread.
However, when the threads are merged, if-and-only-if you were subscribed to the thread whose primary id is maintained in the forum, do you stay subscribed to the new thread. Else you have to resubscribe.
Edit: In case you want to check whether you have a post in a thread or not, check the icons in front of the thread's name. If you see a , it means that you don't have a post in that thread, but if there's a triangle in there, like this: , then there's a post on that thread written by you. These details are given in a key below every thread list.
Regards,
Grondmaster

The new interface looks really good and have enjoyed exploring it a lot.
I came across somethings that I found quite distracting: - The Profile opens but the tabs are all over the place but seem to arrange itself briefly. The problem seems to be resolved.
- I feel that the first tab displayed on the profile page should be the about me. It goes directly to the visitor's comment.
- Also, could the tabs be arranged where each of them are in view?
- Comments on the profile page and social groups are a soft delete. It looks rather messy.
- While posting a comment in the social groups, I can post only when I go advanced.
Other wise the it looks really good and I look forward to using it more.
Cheers.
