That is how it is supposed to be for some administrative reasons...

for example when you search in google the results aren't actually direct link to the real site it too passes through the Google's site. The reason is that this is how you can track the clicks which is useful for further analysis....

This though need some attention...
It doesn't popup a new window so there is no reason why a popup blocker should block it...

If you can reproduce the bug and present me the exact steps taken, it'll be a great help.

Issue/Enhancement: The Quick Reply icon doesn't have the 'quote post' option ticked. Since many users, especially n00bs, use this option, and they forget to quote the post, we get posts like these:

Also, in my case, the very options remain unticked. And unchangeable. And the 'show signature' option remains changeable and ticked.
Probable Fix: Make the 'quote post' option ticked by default. n00bs will anyway need guidance, and hence will get the answers they want, but others will atleast be able to see whose is the post replied to.

The Calendar for 2007 doesn't seem to work. Clicked on January 2007, but still December 2006 shows up!!

Hi Rungss,
Lately I have started using Firefox 2.01 something , I admit its really fast , but the problem is that on pg it works really funny , the advertisement on the right hand pane overlaps the smileys and its transparent also , I can see teh smileys but I cant click on them , and when I sign off which is normally with a regards shailesh , it doesnt come the way it was typed ... I mean there was a space and a proper way in which I had typed , but it comes garbled .. any suggestions from the Firefox advocates

This I have posted using I.E 7 , ronticus suggested that the problem could be in the page margin being in an absolute figure rather than a %
