Oooooh! Lotsa action here. But then you can expect the same when the thread title has the buzzword called "Girl".
Finally the Arsenal-fan, Miltond makes some sense. PagalGirl (I dont know why ppl call it PPG!!) looks more like a Femina mag.
First of all the purpose of the forum ?
A bunch of girls thought there's no place on the internet, where they can discuss girlie matters. One reason is Pagalguy.com members discuss only about MBA or guys-thing like Football and F1. Someone pls tell me how in this world is Football a "guy" thing ?? There are hardcore footie fans in places like HK, Singapore et al, and if Indian girls prefer watching Salman Khan's antics instead of Wayne Rooney's screamers, what can we do ? In the last 3 years, I havent seen a single post by a girl on "Football Club". So does that categorize Football as a Guy-thing ?
So far so good. Forum started, with a "No Guys Allowed" board outside. And girls started to discuss all those rants they wanted to, in the last 20 years. Cool. No problem..
Then comes this thread. Basically to tell the whole world that the Forum is up. And the typical-Indian-dominating-male, as The Holy Editor likes to put up, sees it as a discrimination. Why ? Because guys are not allowed on Pagalgirl. Holy Cow! What a logic!
And then rounds of gender-bashing, and 100 posts later, no one knows whats going on. <Cut the crap>
I am all game for the site/place/space for girls. Also I like the way girls tried to defend it, LOGICALLY and not emotionally, the way Munira did.
The PagalGirls will lose steam pretty soon, discussing make-up tips and jewellery selections. And then they come to the hottest topic around - Managing relationships and "Why Guys can never understand Girls" and all that. But what will you discuss there ? Topics will get monotonous, for you'll lack the view of the other side of the coin - The Guys' view. But if you think you can pull it off without the guys, then All the Best!
Ok Whatever.
Simba, Maybe you can take this as a sincere suggestion:
Please make the site Private, where only members (read girls) can view. And if you disagree, pls let me know why!
Being a member for 3+ years, I know the way guys react, when it comes to sensitive issues. Even I think, when will they ever grow up. And I think most of those guys hv had failed relationships/dumped by girls et al.
But branding every Guy in India is a Traditional-Dominating-Male ?!
The Final Cut.
I guess unhealthy relationships are the root cause of all these bashings. A healthy atmosphere at home, wont make one frustrated, and a healthy relationship with a girl, will make you feel the world is indeed a beautiful place.
All the Best Simba
