Expected downtime and site move - 21-12-2005, 10:31 AM
Hola folks! We will be shifting our site to a new server. We have been doing some preliminary work yesterday and you guys might have faced some downtime.

Today however we will be doing a full move of the data and the forum might be shut down for some time. We have no choice but to do this procedure within the next 24 hours due to some complications with the servers.

So today you might see the forum down, site down, errors and all. But relax, its not indicative of server loads or anything. Its just that we are working to move the massive site which is now over 5 GB in size

Once the sites are moved and on the new server, you will know .. because we will be adding some christmas cheer to the site after we're done moving. So relax, dont worry too much about any exam result and have a great day. Catch you after the move

I experienced hitches yesterday and was thinking about the server load.....

I just wonder why the bloody my Internet wala do this same kinda announcement.....broadband in hyd sucks....

I am able to access PG during the downtime??

Edit: err looks like I posted just when the site came back up I wasnt able to get to the forum main page though.
