Been testing another piece of functionality - its called PaGaLGuY.com Invites. Its a way you can invite your friends,family or other interested junta to the forum. Right now we allow both regular registrations and invite based registrations. The invite based registrations are similar to gmail.com style invites. All you need to do to send an invite to somebody is head over to : www.pagalguy.com/forum/invites.php This URL can also be found in your USER CP. I've kept both options open for a while and wanted to discuss the pros and cons of disabling direct registration for everyone and making pagalguy.com an invite only forum. Out with your thoughts folks  PS: Do invite others rightaway to the forum

well..... i came across pagalguy bcz a frnd like mine wanted me to read a post written by him... i liked the site and stayed on..... but with invite only, it wud mean a lot more work and effort to get registered..... seems like a bad idea unless u r sure tht PG now has achieved tht critical mass and popularity tht ppl wud put in tht extra effort to get themseelves registered...

hey man,
I also think that PG shud be open to all. In this way, we shall be able to increase Puy's count by leaps n bounds. Making it a restricted access may hinder those ppl who know it from search engines or MBA queries.....But the other selfish me endorses Pagal's view.Lets keep PG for ourselves...

You cannot make it invite only! That wud mean sinking to a depth where you try and make it exlusive/organically growing/whachamacallit....Load of BS...
Lets just keep it both ways, referrals and freshies... coz the whole place is warm and friendly.... and a msg like "sorry u have to know someone to join blah blah" is against the spirit...
