Well wudnt we also be keeping serious ppl away.....a genuine person may not know anyone in PG and never get a referral...something to think about..

I for one....did not know anybody on this forum before I joined it...how would I have joined PG then??

Maybe some fan of yours entered your name in the referrer field at the time of registration ...there are hundreds of your fans out there ... because of your internet resource locating capabilities

One of the ideas that went behing looking at an only invite option is ofcourse a gmail style of marketing. Users on PG get invites based on their number of posts and they get refreshed every week. However I dont think it will work well for us because I realize that for such a thing to work, there has to be other media where PG invites can be discussed and err.. there are none

So I guess we'll keep both the setups. However we will def. look at a competition for the highest no. of referrals
