40753 users are registered at PG, and out of it thousands are inert. So making it invite-only may turn out to be a hindrance..so i suggest both direct registration and invite-only should be open..invite-only is quite a lucrative stuff for ppl so may be more users will come through that channel. PG's popularity has grown manifold in last 1 yr and this is just the beginning.
PS- one suggestion.. there are many who visit PG once, register and then forget, if such ids are deleted after a specified period, say three months, then it will reduce the load on server, i guess .. | | |  | | | | |

yeah i was one of them..i came across pg on google and stayed on..

PaGaLGuY.com Invites is a good think but disabling direct registration for everyone and making pagalguy.com an invite only forum is a bad idea......am not in favour of it.i think both invites n direct registration should remain there....invites will let us bring more pagals and may b limit invites so that we invite good pagals rather than anyone(who may not participte enough).
talking abt pros for disabling direct registration,only reason i can think of is gettin rid of inert users, for that capricious's suggestion is good. Quote: |

Brother PG! It would be great if u were to give all of us hints on y u want to bring abt this change if at all Some of the probable reasons 1.Too many ppl for a few hard working servers... 2. Issue of manageability:the feeling that its gnna be real tough to mod considering the kind of growth rate PG witnesses 3.Google Eyeing PG as a potential ally???(Now that is some news ??) Kindly enlighten us
