LIBA Admissions 2009 - 08-09-2008, 10:20 PM
Hi folks,

We're bang in the middle of trimester exams as I start this thread.

It's that time of the year when B-school students across the country chip in to help out prospective MBA grads with the admission process at various colleges. Shoot your queries ppl, and we at LIBA will help you in any way we can, with all the info you need.

hey.. please tell us the admission process and the important dates.. etc.. nothing is mentioned in their sites. is it ok to apply after the CAT scores have come out? do help out...

The cutoff for the '08 batch was 90.1%ile overall.

As regards the admissions process, it's pretty much like other colleges. We take XAT scores. Based on your performance in XAT you'll be called for a GD/PI. The brochure was available after XAT exams last time.

The admissions brochure is not out yet. Will let you guys know once it is.

Do check out the Director interview in my signature to get a clear picture of the admissions process.

Plz can u tell me what are the no. of seats in LIBA.
Also, do they emphasize on sectional cutoffs or only overall.

First of all thanks to Subu for starting this thread... It feels good to carry on from where we had left last year.. Am sure all of us on PG from LIBA had a great time helping out our juniors through LIBA Admission 2008 thread.. Am sure this time too the tradition at LIBA of helping out prospective students will continue...

The total no of seats in LIBA is 120. There is a sectional cut-off in each of the sections.
