hi puys...
I noticed that JMET date clashing with Tiss, and i m interested in giving both.
Timing of JMET is 10 AM to 1 PM but in Tiss announcement they not mention timing so please give me idea about the timing of Tiss exam.

hello...i've searched a lot abt TISS exam nd m still not sure regardin the cut-off nd d pattern of d paper...is the cut-off (43 marks) fixed every year?...nd wht is d markin scheme??..plz guide...thanx...

This was the case last year....the pattern has been changing each year...so really can't say...the brochure has no mention of the pattern...

hii all
thats quite a shocker. Was expecting TISS to be on 3rd sunday of JAN....anyways got to face it now......
I really am looking forward to cracking TISS.....a few questions for the seniors and everybody else::
1. A very important thing up first, TISS is not an MBA college.....isnt it....so wat is the flagship course out there??? is it MA in HR ?? and wat else is good...i mean which course???
2. What is the total no.of seats ???
3. Placements and fees etc...???
4. Most importantly, wat was the cut off for last year?? and the difficulty level of the paper as welll.....
Thanks a lot in advance.....looking forward to be at TISS

TISS is famous for H.R. and M.S.W..................
As far as seats are concernd for HR only 53 (with reservations)
Placements r good 11lacs p.a.
Fees is also quite low
Paper is of SNAP, NMAT level...........last year around 10000 people took the test. which means around 1200 applicants per seat.............

The cut-off last year was an absolute figure mentioned in the brochure(dont remember it:huh  but it was low enough, and paper was easy......at least 5K-6K (approx) qualified...and then it boiled down to how well you could convince the panel about your interest in HR.....be it any course, at TISS the professors in the interview panel can see through you and select the right person...at least that's what I could learn from my experience
