Welcome!!!!!!!!! - 23-06-2005, 07:10 PM

Dear all,

Welcome to JBIMS

Its a good thing that u people will know something about each other before joining, we had nothing like this

I suggest all of u join this yahoogroup ..............jbims_aspirants

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/jbims_aspirants/

I started this group with the view of making it a place to solve all JBIMS related queries of the future batches.

Though there isnt much activity there till now

It will be good if all of u join it, so that 3-4 months down the line the next set of aspirants will have a place to put forward their query to the entire batch of JBIMS

For the time being u can it to communicate among each other

Okays
Now about the rank thing
anybody with a Mumbai university rank of 36-37 should not worry
Coz the final lists isnt drastically different than the provisional lists generally

Also if u r a Mumbai univ candidate your University rank will be used for addmissions to JBIMS

See the funda is simple

If a mumbai university candidate applies to any of the colleges falling under Mumbai University his/her University rank will be taken into consideration since Mumbai is his/her Home university

On the other hand if the same Mumbai university candidate applies to a college falling under any other university other than Mumbai (For e.g PUMBA) his/her State rank will be taken into consideration

So i would say people with ranks of 36-37 and less need not worry at all

Regards,
Jamil

PS: I see so many B'comer this time...............Engineers kahaan ho!!!!!!!

hoping to see u at jb.
