Hardly anythin confusing abt it!...
It wld b the B School who wld consider your better score n give out a call if at all...Yes, now u may think, what if I score really well in one test n come up a cropper in the other, will they think of me as a fluke..?...Or u may think even deeper, as to, what weightage will the inst give to CAT vis-a-vis XAT...?
But then mate, dont thnk too much over all this...Coz thats NOT IN OUR HANDS..!!...Do what u know u CAN, n that is to try n get 99+ perc in both the tests...N all those questions/doubts will then take care of themselves...!!
Anythn more, u can ask...But then, once again, stop worrying abt issues that r beyond your control...Jus get into the 5th gear now n start bellin these SIMCATS, MOCKCATS or whatevr u call them...
Regards n good luck,

Hey, please clarify my doubt. There are two types of forms, 1. PP form 2. PA form. As far as I got, one is for XAT and other is for XLRI specially. Am I right? So, if I want to apply to both XAT and other institutes accepting XAT score, I have to buy both XAT bulletin and XLRI prospectus. It will cost me 1500/-. Tht's too much, friends. You have to be IN the SYSTEM to CHANGE the SYSTEM.

Applying for XAT will not automatically make u eligible for admission to XLRI, unlike CAT where one form is enough for all the IIMs Greed is Good -Gordon Gekko

please let me kno.. | Brochure and bulletin are the same dude.... u will have to apply for a XAT Bulletin which u can do in two ways:
1. go to a SBI branch, buy a XAT bulletin for 700/-, log on to www.xlri.edu fill personal details, bulletin no. branch name etc. then u will get ur XAT ID and password..... this done u will see a XAT PP form, take a print out of this, paste ur photo sign in the space provided, enclose the third bank pay in slip and post it within a week after obtaining the XAT bulletin to XLRI in the envelope given in the bulletin.
2. if this is not exciting for u, go to any bank get a DD made for 750/- in favour of XAT, Jamshedpur payable at SBI XLRI branch, log on to the site give the dd details and personal info, then u get ur ID and pass... after this the procedure is the same as in 1.
easy isnt it Greed is Good -Gordon Gekko

| No GK in XAT? -
05-09-2005, 01:09 PM
Hi
i bought the XAT brochure last friday. In the pattern of paper (last but one page of the brochure) there is no mention of GK. It includes QA/VA/Logical and a essay of 20 mins.
Can some one clarify.
Another question is the reservation in XIMB. I know a friend of mine who had applied to XIMB in 04 and then they had a huge (about 66%) quota for Orissa domicile.
Can some one shed some light..
