waiting for ur confirmation now.....thanx
Hey Vinz,

Had a talk with the admission office..here r the details of what i gathered from them -

1. The candidates CANNOT update their personal details on the website once they come out of the site. Basically, u can enter the details only once...So you cannot update the field now.

2. the field "Job Responsibility" is not considered while issuing the interview calls...so u may relax..

3. The site will be opened for modifications for some time after the written results are declared. This would be done obviously for ONLY those candidates who have secured an interview call so that they can go back and fill up/modify the descriptive questions like the one which you have missed. Certain fields like DOB/Qualification/Course option will most certainly be non-modifiable even then for obvious reasons.

Remember, the interview panel can definitely ask u something on what u have filled up for these questions as they would be having a printout of your form. So do make it a point to fill them up after the results...

Cheers,
Saurabh

Hey Vinz....

Thanx for the kind words man but really dont think that they were required. This place, PG has helped me a lot over a last couple of years when i was struggling to get into a top B-School. So its but natural that I give back what I got from here. Thats what makes this place moving man. As u rightly said...PG Rocks....so keep the spirit going.

U mentioned the XL spirit...yes it is absolutely amazing and all I can say is that u gotta be here to experience it....cant really put it in words....

So dude...put ur best foot forward......crack the exam and the interview....and cya soon at Jampot...All The Best....

Cheers,
Saurabh

No GK in XAT this year - 29-09-2005, 12:26 PM

Hi

There were a lot of queries regarding the GK section in XAT this year. Though the sample paper given along with brochure makes it very clear, still for the satisfaction of many aspirants who sent me personal messages, I confirmed it from Admissions office that there won't be any GK this time in XAT and paper will comprise of 3 sections as mentioned in the sample paper.
I hope this clears your doubts.
