Part time at NMIMS or full time at Chetana?? -
31-05-2005, 11:05 AM
I have a diploma in chemical and post diploma in petrochemical. Further, a bachelors degree in IT i.e. a correspondence course from Manipal. I have been working since the past 6 years as a marketing executive. Preently I am working with a chemical trading organisation, with a package of 2.5 lakhs per annum. I plan to take up MBA for better prospects. My Maharashtra CET score was 62 and GD PI results are awaited. I have an admission invitation into a full-time PG programme in Chetana, Also, I have the same into a part time programme at NMIMS, Somaiya and Wellingkar. Kindly suggest a course of action.
One of the project managers in my previous company did the part time course from NMIMS . he rated it highly as people around you are experienced and the course was also good ... only negative was it gets very hectic... office then college and it takes 3 yrs

Do evaluate what you are looking for from the program. Part-time courses don't usually have placement assistance (correct me if I'm wrong) but it would certainly enhance your employability and promotability.
Or you might want to wait and try for a good full-time course next year, if you can wait that long.
Nights can be empty, nights can be cold
So you were looking for someone to hold
That's only natural
But why did it have to be me?
