Laptop is more or less compulsary and is definitely not included in the fees.

It sure is very helpful especially for your projects and stuff. Research not to forget. Besides presentations and stuff. Much of your work will be easier with a laptop.

Also if I am not mistaken they do have a computer lab but we share that lab with all the students ( other courses included) so I doubt if that will always be available at the time you want.

Anyways I am going tomo to pay my fees. Will update you guys. In case anyone has some q's for the institute let me know I can ask them. But thats before tomo morning. So nearly 12-14 hrs for all your queries

since u going to the insti tomm.. could u pls get the foll details on the girls hostel for me...
how much is it per month.. the facilities offered.. how many in one room... time to get back to the rooms.. by when we have to let them know..how many months do we have to pay up for (minimum)... messing facilities...n stufflike that !..

i have a suggestion.... all mumbai ppl who plannin to take up ths course 4 sure.... lets meet up... maybe pay the fees together... wud be gr8 to knw each other!!!

and arnd 1 yr of workex!

got thru in e biz!!

also if thr r more ppl in.. we can start a yahoogrp!! wat say guyz!!

This is a sticky wicket for me. hv never been inside the hostel(ladies, i dont think im suicidal ).

From what I know, rooms are normally twin sharing. U will hv a bed and a writing table each.

There are heaters which u can use for some minor heating work like burn water . Of course washing areas.

Of course net connectivity is available (The laptops come very handy here).

Fees are 40K p.a. Food is extra, there are many ppl who supply food evry nite for arnd 500 p.m. This is normally sufficient for 2 ppl if my estimation of wht girls eat is correct.

I think the girls hostel has a deadline of 10 p.m. n e way the hostel warden is also a senior staff member at the campus. i think the best way is for someone to chk for themeselves.

The boys hostel has similar facilities.

Yahoo group maybe we can form once we actually enter college.
Very few of us are for welingkars actually on pagalguy. So once we hook wid our mates wud be much easier

So once we have more people we can make a group. Till then I think this thread shud be pretty helpful
