Hi EO,
Well I take the pleasure to say something about my institute as you doesn't know anything ( or very little) about SIOM. SIOM is an autonomous institute started in June 2005 and we are the PIONEER BATCH of this institute. Unlike other B-Schools we are specialized in Operations Management course. You must have certain eligibility to apply for this institute,
1. Be an Engineer
2. Good Analytical skill
3. Work Experience ( not mandatory but preferred)
4. Urge to be in the Operations Field
I don't want to comment anything on the cut-off produced by any institution. Because we very well know about how do they analyse ( ) and say to you.
In the past 6 months , SIOM has the following achievements,
1. Released a news letter CHRYSALIS which was well acclaimed by more than 1000 companies in the country.
2. Our students have won many prizes in various events conducted by the so said top notch institutes in the country. If you want the details message me I will give you the Event and the prize they have won.
3. Recently conducted an event called CONVERGE , which was a panel discussion by Academician and Industry experts from Mumbai and Nasik.
4. A massive survey on consumer behaviour conducted at Nasik which was appreciated by the Retail Giants in the town.
5. Improved the infrastructure a lot by adding up ,
a. 1400 new books to library
b. Upgraded the internet facility to 2MBPS speed
c. Upgraded the SAP server with new DELL of 3 GB RAM
d. Upgraded the ORACLE server with new 1 GB RAM
One common myth is that, if any particular institute's thread is having higher post it is consider being the best. Please come out of it and use your common sense. Post are built up by the queries and the level of knowledge sharing done in PG. I am not offending anybody but trying to change your view point.
