i had given the exam last yr.
first paper is objective maths. this is multiple choice. they stick to the portion given in the syllabus of the prospectus. its easy-ok. i think if you get about 15-20 correct out of 30 its good enough. anyway as there is no time constraint (i think its 2 hrs ) its not such a problem
second paper is economics and its subjective. again, the style is similar to the sample paper they give with the prospectus. this is quite a good paper if you like eco and understand it well. theres no necessity to give any fundae.. i think you just have to show them that you understand the question and can think logically. i think what they look for is you approach to the problem and not the final answer.
i had answered almost everything using graphs or simple algebra using the most basic of eco knowledge (im not an eco student so didnt have much eco knowledge). i got through the written test. in fact i think the maths test is the deciding factor coz many do well at the eco. (this is what i think).
they call about 40-50 for the final interview and select as many as they please. however my interview was not good

i think they finally took in about 20 people.
any other questions feel free to ask. or pm. all the best
