hey pgs...plz help!!!
i've got an admission into ASB and i don't know whether to take it up, or give another go at cat.
no concrete word on faculty as of now, although initial claims were big. i have pay up the initial installment by august 1st, that's next monday.
there are a lot of pros and cons bcoz of which i can't make up my mind. pros being the very names backing the place are so big, and i think some of those ppl were present on hte interview panel, so involvement is certainly there. add to that the fact that basic infrastructure is already present by virtue of having a campus within technopark. no placement issues either.
cons:- mainly that it is a new place and hence is a huge risk.

would the resourceful and experienced hands on pg plz advise...and sooonnnn..

Being the first batch of any college is a Huge Risk. For Instance, hw can u say that there are no placement issues?? It takes some years for any college to develop a brand name.

Also, Make sure that the faculty mentioned for FULL-TIME have good-experience and reputation. Infrastructure doesnt matter in a bigger picture, its the people that teach there and study there that matter.

Finally, If u can, I would suggest you to try for the best (IIMs).

And ya, any decision u make must be yours and not due to others Gyaan. Try making a perspective for urself from evrybodyz ideas.

You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club

the only reason i said there are no placement issuses is bcoz its backed by tcs(chairman of board of governors), infosys and KPMG. not to mention the fact that there are a slew of MNCs around technopark who would only be too happy to have students at their "doorstep".
