Frankly speaking,,,After pondering a lot,,i realised iit madras ,,tho" a late starter among it's rather highlighted peers,,was coming up really really fast,,and had all the right ingredients of a grt B- school..(refer to my previous post) My decision of joining IIT M,,is based on ,wat it shall be in 2 years rather than wat ppl think bout it rite now!!!

though i m not the right person to post here but ...cud not resist replying to u dude!

i too am in process of taking a similar decision.. having to chose between IIT kanpur and NM. well, ur analysis seems very apt but the av sal of NM (as per their website and the press releases) for 2005 batch is 5.5...
while at IITK its almost the same at IITM. same citibank was the top recruiter.
even i am having an inclination towards IIT.
and ur last 2 posts were a real support to my belief.

what do u think?
