Hi ppl,
I started this thread to know my SIES batchmates.
But it seems no one from SIESCOMS is browsing through pagalguy.
Anyway I'm Dhruv PAthak from Dehradun,B.Tech (Information Tech.)
graduated in 2004 from U.P. Technical univ,lucknow.
Please if any one's there plz post ur replies........

i converted my call tooo. i guess outa 400 20 were selected.

mate heard that SIES coms PGDBA has 150 seats wats upp with just 20 sleected out of 400 me aspiring CAT 2005 very eager to know abt SIES COMS wanna get into advertising so no IIMS either MICA or a good college in mumbai

First of all let me clear ur doubt about 20 ppl being selected out of 400.
The selestion process of SIESCOMs was held in 4 rounds so the guy is talking about the selection ratio in a single round.
2ndly if u wanna go for advt there is no other good inst than MICA ,
& as for SIESCOMS is concerned it doesn't provide specialization in Advt. as far as my knowledge is concerned.

mate the catch is any good mumbai college has a goood placement reacord to these ad agencies ....... say SIES MET wellingakars somaiya etc so these are on my hitlst after MICA ...... so just wat curiouss so how many according to you applied this year to SIESCOMS and any idea abt managemant seats funda as in heard last time ppl payed 5 k's to just get in

bokia , management seats are omnipresent . and this time there is a mad rush in most of the colleges , . don t have the xact figures . but durin ma time , there were 400 applicants , so yu can just get a rough idea . this year , tell u everyone wants to be in a b school . yu can always go to the institute n enquire 4 the management seats .

Hey, people, i'm from delhi so don't know much about mumbai colleges, I appeared in cet and score 114, can u tell me about what should i put as my preferences on the option form, jbm syd, kj, well, pumba should b first 5, thats what everyone says, what should be other choices among, sies, met, chetna etc, kindly rank them as per their reputation there in mumbai. Thanks.
