Most of the Xlers 2005-07 from Delhi have booked their tickets to Jamshedpur by Purushottam Express boarding New Delhi on June 12 2005 at 22 35 hrs.

Nyone who has been left out, pls try to book ticket by the same train on the same day so that more n more of us can travel together.

I have been Reading about all the XL meets in Metros on the Yahoo group, and I just could not stop myself from proposing a similar get together at Amchi Pune.....

Anybody from Pune (confirmed and WL hopefuls included) please respond to this post or PM me.... lets do something memorable before the party begins in June....!!

Hi all,
This is my first post in PG. A friend of mine has got through the PMIR course at XLRI. What she wanted to know was that are localites allowed to the course. This doubt has come up as the letter clearly mentions that people outside Jamshedpur will be given preference while allocating the rooms in the hostel. Plz post ur views about this.
I also wanted to know that if some students do opt to stay in their homes does this negatively affect their studies. I know about missing out on hostel life and projects conducted late at nights but then they would not have allowed it if it was impossible to do the course from home now, would they?

Plz correct me wherever i am wrong and plz help me out ASAP.

I think the question shud be worded as " Are Day-Scholars allowed in XL " ...

Well , U can jst call there and confirm ..
I dnt knw whether it is allowed or nt......... bt i feel it is nt advisable ......


PS : I am not an XL senior,, I wud be joining it this year!

Exactly after two months of giving my interview (it was on 25th Feb @ Mumbai), finally I have been confirmed by XLRI (was WL-3 for PMIR)….. !!!!......that I am on top of the world wud just be an understatement….. I am out partying for next couple of days atleast….

WLers…just call up XL to get ur status… here is the number – 0657-2225506

I have been selected for the 2006-07 GMP program at XLRI. I have 2 questions - is any health required/compulsory before coming to XLRI? What kind is required? Second - are good balzers avalible in jamshedpur. I'm planning to buy one there itself instead of taking with me all the way from bangalore.
