Hi Gang,

1. This is about the laptops ... Someone mentioned on the group tht we
are trying to strike a deal with DELL for about 35k a laptop ... Can
someone plz confirm the configuration of the same .... reason being I
am thinking of buying mine from the States and was wondering if a
similar config is available at more or less similar cost then will not
get into the States jhanjhat!!!

2. Friends, wanted to know about the conveyance part ... what mode of
conveyane do people generally use @ FMS.... wanted to know since my
family may not permit me using a bike in delhi ... so do students also
have cars there?????

More doubts will surely follow ... Today being the last day for fee
submission ... all the best to all Waitlisters eager to hit FMS!!!!!

Hey coder....bare bare seheron mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti hi rehti hain...isliye tension nahi lene ka ...see the positive side of this scoop is that FMS is so good that even the prof there are dying to push their chaps in !!...waise I wish ki aise stupid profs ko jaldi nikalna chahiye wahan se...jaroor wo bhi kahin se Jack laga ke prof bana hoga FMS ka...aur aaj ja ke pol khul hi gayee uski

....Hail hail waitlisters..the train has moved frm Gaziabad...the current speed seems heartening..."Tishan Master" - Manhar saab ne main list se 18 logon ko hari jhandi dikha di hai...16 logon ka pata nahi from main list...so can expect some more. WL30 se upar 25 ppl opting out...wow !!

bus ab itna hi hai ki saari inputs correct ho....if so then we are surely goin to hit the half century...wot a way to celebrate the silver jubilee of FMS...

Can someone please clarify what all documents need to be submitted at the time of registration..?

Paid up at fms yesterday morning at 12(the staff was nice enough to
accept the fees before time)

At the time i paid, 32 ppl from gen category had paid up(including me
n 2 other guys froim mumbai, Parag n kaustobh who i met there).
The staff says they expect 7-8 ppl to pay up by tomorrow.... i feel
the num may be less than that, as no potential manager should delay
such an important paymnet to the last moment.

Also went to the hostel. Wont comment on it as i have never lived in
one, so cant rate it...

i am planning to get a laptop from USA. It turns out to be
much cheaper... and any respectable company has worldwide guarantee,
so no prob on that count too.

hey.

I am from MUMBAI, and was wondering if all of us MUMBAI ppl could meet
up sometime soon.... even ppl upto WL 50 welcome(coz i feel they will
make it).

Even lijo n some other fms seniors are in mumbai, and we could meet them too.

Pls mail me ppl frm mumbai, n suggest some time and place (i think
this weekend would be ideal as working ppl can aslo make it.)

3 things buddy, first - u need ur 10, +2 Marksheet & certf, Final Yr certf of ur Grad which contains summary of all the marks u got in ur Grad, Grad certf, Catergory proof if applicable (SC/ST/PH/..), two PP pics, Rs 9550 Cash only, ur final yr college roll number. Better take a pen along.

2nd thing - i really want to know why being from Delhi u r so late !!

Were the forms available now in hostels?

Just make sure the power hardware & voltage-current specs are adaptable to Indian plug standards, so u dont hav a prob later coz of mismatches
