Which are the best for MBA Finance in India?

I wanted to know the public opinion about the courses they think are the best for Finance available in India. Some of them according to me are IIM C, IIM B, IIM L, MFC, ICFAI (hyd), FMS.

Please pour in ur opinions.

A friend of mine is interested in pursuing a career in Finacnce...

Me not have much info though.. so asking you guys to help..

His profile : B.Com, fresher...
He has applied to MS Finance (ICFAI, Hyd)...

Hoz the course ??
Any idea what they would ask in the entrance ???

Any other course that he can join this year???

IIM B,IIM C,IIM L,FMS,MFC,ICFAI (hyd)

Purely industry perceptionwise... All hearsay ofcourse

IIM A,C,B in that order... A's overall reputation is too strong otherwise C is way ahead in all things Finance...
Then its JBIMS, IIM L, SPJ, FMS, NMIMS... Dont be shocked by NMIMS here. Come to Mumbai. NM dudes are doing pretty well in the business.

I dont know much about other colleges in finance....
If you want to do finance either go to the IIMs ofcourse or come to Mumbai

Also in the purely investing business... CA, CFA are rocking almost at the same level or more as pure MBAs from india...

Not a 100% sure if the Mods wld allow this thread to survive...N hopefully v wont b rebuked for posting here...

Nonetheless, A, B n C r gr8 for Finance as it is 4 every possible stream/specialisation...Every1 knows that as well...

Apart frm that I presume JB comes next...Being a Bombayite I'v gathered enough info on my city's B Schools n can safely say that JB's placements in Fin r a calss apart frm other B School's...Only Finance's though...Otherwise SPJ, IITB n NITIE r all good in their chosen niche areas...

Not much info on any other inst.

MFC (DU), MS Finance (ICFAI - Hyd), any other ??

Dude in dat case it wud b MFC(DU) hands down!!!!
But as u say he's givin no entrances....n MFC results r already out,so r ICFAI results.But he can surely manage 2 wriggle in2 ny of da ICFAI campuses other than Hyderabad.
Moreovr there is d option of CA,CFA, dude believe u me they're equally rockin!!!!!!!!
