hi. well i bought the prospectus but im still in a double mind whether to apply or not. the problem is it is an autonomous institute and in the prospectus i couldnt find whether it was recognised by aicte. it was affiliated to any university i guess that would be better but from what i know it comes under balaji trust and is autonomous.. so im still undecided .ictm..well i dont know much about that. . as far as my qualifications go im doin my 3 year bcom

hi nisha,
the college comes under balaji trust and it is not approved by aicte and yeah its autonomous and is not affiliated to any university. But yeah its course curriculum is very tough and it is respected by many companies. And as far as aicte is concerned, the college has not taken its approval because they have to pay to aicte lacs of rupees for its affiliation, also they have to go to aicte for any small change they hv to make regarding college.just go ahead with ur interview but dont register for BAT,they dont consider written scores at all, just attach any score card u hv got.keep informing me about the college....best of luck

hi aakarsh,
if u have got 70 at xat u need not apply for BAT(u'll save 600 bucks that way),the av is 2.8 and infra is not so good, also no permanent faculty.make ur own decision.

hi nisha - 05-03-2005, 04:43 AM

hi,
see, they dont give any importance to written part. All emphasis is on gd/pi.gd was too simple with general topics. They may leave it to candidates to decide the topic. But a lot of importance is given to the initialization and conclusion,so tr to be the first. In interview they may ask any questions, even wierd ones. They r from army so u can expect questions like SSb.the guy asked me the distance upto london(i said i never measured ,sir)........just go with a positive mind and its a cakewalk

IILM vs BIMTECH still confusing - 05-03-2005, 11:34 PM

Hi Arleen,

IILM Delhi was one of the good b-schools when they used to take CAT scores only. From past year (or I think this year) they have started taking MAT scores too. This year they conducted stress interview for their PGDBM course. BIMTECH has generally a hype but I personally feel that IILM have better placements, faculties and well a definitely fine infra. Some of the professors in BIMTECH, from IILM only as I was told by some seniors in BIMTECH.

But still I think IILM Delhi's name is slowly dying and BIMTECH's name is rising.

Adios Friend...
