hi ,

i am a 2006 batch student, currently doing SIP in GE Capital Chennai. here in chennai very few know abt pg site.

Regarding infra: our batch strength is around 140. we have two buildings. currently sufficient. even library is also o.k. but the problem is we heard that ur batch strength is going to be around 250.

if u don't do well, u will be killing urself. regarding reputation:- chennai doesn't have any top notch b-school apart from IIT-M . definitely it is an advantage for ibs chennai. (with due respect to liba, itm, ifmr). icfai has got good reputation in chennai

institute has bought one (or leased) building, planning to take 2 more. our seniors placements is going on

ramco systems took around 12 students- 3.5lacs

e-serve 18 students - 5.5 lacs (i heard )

then india bulls, icici , idbi, basics, reuters scope international i am getting all the names but it is good. regarding pay average will be around 2 lacs if u leave ramco and e-serve. getting better year by year. sure

scenario going here is students whi took marketing got in financial firms and finance students got in marketing .

but the no. of 250 will pressure on students as well as on faculties. regarding finance faculties really good . rest i don't want to comment.

it is woth coming here and getting confirm urself, than paying 4.5lacs. but i am damn sure that once u see our main building(regarding the location) u will never bother to think of chennai again. .

but compared to other centers chennai centre can also be considered. if number doesn't kill u

any more queries

hi folks

im frm hyd il tell y icfai hyd or as a matter of fact any icfai isnt good...though the magazines rank them as 11 or 12....y they r ranked so good ...cos u see the sheer nos add up 4 their score but if u see their ratins on parameters like placements n industry interface n foriegn placements....the imp factors tat a student considers icfai ranks pretty bad in them...they r good cos there is a concept called economies of scale...guys if u have other colleges pl consider them above icfai...i know personally know a lot of ppl in icfai totally disillusioned bout so pl b careful in ur choices

hello cat_moon

i think u r completely wrong in ur analysis

ur friends might not have worked hard, therefore they did not get placements

when anyboby pays 4-5 lakhs as fees , he is bound to work hard.

ur fiends might not have done that. its their mistake. right, karthik?
