I am Swaroop.............from hyd..............first of all thnx to vinod 4 starting this thread............and i am very happy after seeing so many people taking active part in this thread..............i wasnt a active member bcos i wasnt in town for the past 1 week..........newayz.............i got thru ICFAI(chennai) on 18th.............and after a long thought i have decided i am surely goin to join .............i talked to a few of them and they said that placements are 100%..............there are some very good placements also(5 to 6 lakhs)........but only if u give it ur best for the nxt 2 yrs.....................sreejoy and vinod.........i guess both of u will join me in chennai...................ill be back.......byeeeeeeeee

i heard that engineering students has to study some accounts subject of 11th std before coming in may. it will be lot easier for them

hi i am joining icfai chennai definitely.please can you help me with accomodation.....how much would be the cost of living and other expenses....can you send me the name of agencies who would help me with accomodation.......do you have any suggestion.please kindly give me the details of what food and what sort of accomodation facilities and expenses i may face and what should be my budget like.looking forward to see you :Snip:

if u don't do well, u will be killing urself. regarding reputation:- chennai doesn't have any top notch b-school apart from IIT-M . definitely it is an advantage for ibs chennai. (with due respect to liba, itm, ifmr). icfai has got good reputation in chennai

institute has bought one (or leased) building, planning to take 2 more. our seniors placements is going on

ramco systems took around 12 students- 3.5lacs

e-serve 18 students - 5.5 lacs (i heard )

then india bulls, icici , idbi, basics, reuters scope international i am getting all the names but it is good. regarding pay average will be around 2 lacs if u leave ramco and e-serve. getting better year by year. sure

scenario going here is students whi took marketing got in financial firms and finance students got in marketing .

but the no. of 250 will pressure on students as well as on faculties. regarding finance faculties really good . rest i don't want to comment.

it is woth coming here and getting confirm urself, than paying 4.5lacs. but i am damn sure that once u see our main building(regarding the location) u will never bother to think of chennai again. .

but compared to other centers chennai centre can also be considered. if number doesn't kill u

hey what about accomodation..i woyld be there around 25th as my parents are coming along and we would be going to tirupathi from there......god i need strength to resist the hatd work of the course ........keep me informed regd accomodation and other info that you get..............do you have qany idea what could be the cost of living and fooding and other expenses...........:grab:

hi i shoud be going to chennai around 25th april....what about accomodation have you got any dteial what should me the monthly cost like inclisive everything...........dopy

"You can come here and ask for a place called Triplicane, near to college and u will get soem accomidation, then u can stay there for a week and then join with some guys and take a room. Please take into consideration Water and timings in all places u seach a room."
