its nice 2 see so many students wanting 2 do CFA.
i hope u all remember who i m.4 those who 4got......i m paresh arora from new delhi n elect n comm engg by profession.
i wud like 2 share this knowledge of CFA since my brother is doing the same.
to start with ...........its a wonderful course n highly recognised by industries n there had been students who got the initial offer of 25k who r just CFAs n not mba(so guess u realise wat it means with mba),but the other side of the coin is......CA i.e.chartered accountant institute filled a case against CFA since their image was getting lowered with the popularity of CFA n icfai lost the case....so cfa has been changed 2 MS FINANCE.
normal CFA takes min 3years 2 get completed but v r given the option 2 complete it in 2 years with extra effort wat we will b putting in mba course.thats the + point.
it consist of 3 levels in each year that counts 2 9 levels thruout the course.there r diff names 2 different levels like alpha, beta, gamma, delta, appleson etc.....n has 2 subjects with a complete case study in the last level which is theta.........each subject is divided into 2 parts which constitute 2 different exams on the same day i.e. one in the morning at 10am and the other on the same day at 2.30pm.n the course is almost same 4 both cfa n mba atleast 4 the 1st year.
this is the best information that i cud give from my side.hopefully this will help many of u who r confused regarding CFA.
plz care 2 correct me if i m wrong anywhere.
kindly give me feedback regarding this particular post n feel free 2 pm me if u hv any queries.
n dont worry guyz i will b joining u soon in hyderabad hopefully.
so relax n enjoy
b bye.
take care n enjoy
cheers
paresh
