frenz, i have enquired about laptop from HCL digi logic nearby my place. They are giving the same configuration at about 45000 and for wi-fi enabled, around 51k. Yaaron i don know much bout these stuff, just went in there n asked, n further within 2 weeks, they prices may be slashed further

i know bout ur confusion....people just dnt get confused bout the MBA course...there s a mba course by the ICFAI NATIONAL COLLEGE at each an evry local centre of ICFAI and even at small towns and cities......these are dayscholar programs and nt residential ones.... and mind it the one we r going to do is from ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL.... so they might have callled u as they alredy know that in any case the seats at IBS hydrabad will be full even if u leave the seat...but the new course is nt going to get any attraction from students....so they r just trying to attract by reducing ur fee structure by 4 lacs...
i think the confusion is clear now...any further queries are always invited

viv thats some fundu gyan...im sure thats the case as i was thinking on the same lines...im sure very few people enroll for icfai national college...so you do practise what you preach (im refering to your signature !!)

well its sad saturday is not possible for you...i guess then we can have another chat session during the next week...i guess its best not to cancel saturdays session as a lot of people are going to be online on saturday 6pm..

im sure we can do with some more gyan from you next week..

i just hope at least one of the seniors turn up else it wont be much of value add as you are the ones who know the actual thing...

will come to around 28K+
Descent condition will last you two years
if the hard drive and motherboard do funny things then u gotta change it on your own
(available laptops-DELL,IBM,COMPAQ)
If your lucky u may get a out of the box piece like a compaq for 38K+

2. Zenith will cost 39K+ i year service contract(descent comp)

3. Acer students option 39K+

4. Acer value for money(the prettiest and sleekest of them all) 48K

5. IBM starting at 48K

Hope this is usefull,suggest guys from in and around Delhi to check out nehru place great value for money

was just wondering if any seniors (who have already got placed) want to sell their laptops...coz im sure once you are placed well you dont need a personal laptop as the company generally provides a desktop if not a laptop...just thinking aloud..this might well be the cheapest option..but yes nehru place is the place if you want a good deal.
