u guys seem to b so much worried bt cfa......listen yaar ..cfa is designed in such a manner dat if u enrol at the rite time u get no overlaps...like for july exams before 31st march.....nd when ur workin in a group ur efficiency definately increases...so take da call nd go for cfa specially freshers wholl b competin wid ppl like balaji...(hes a student at hyd wid 10yrs of work ex nd 35yrs of age)....nd then wid our new family at hyd....i mean all u cool frnz.....things hv to become simple..isnt it?......so life mein chill maro nd lead da gp wid dignity.....but yes get ready for sleepless nights at icfai wid mba,cfa nd ur part time jobs if u wish...neways myself poonam ...hyd batch 05-07 from delhi.

If u don’t mind I would like to give u my take on ROI (return on investment). Even I thought that like many others that it would take 2-3 years to recover the money... But my dad gave me some insight on that...

I assume that I have no money right now... (I don’t plan to take a loan either, as I said.. Coz dad says its always good to pay up, as loans work out more expensive) so I wud be taking a virtual loan from my dad of about 7.5 lacs.

Now as my dad rightly put, it’s a prevalent trend for young India to save about 25% (max) of the amount that they earn; which I think is a realistic figure (obviously once u r working u wud need to be all on ur own).

Assume if I have to give back my dad the entire 7.5 lacs, I wud need to get 7.5 lacs x 4 = 30 lacs of in hand salary over the years. Assuming that I get a CTC placement figure of 4.5 (which I think is optimistic) I'd get 3 lacs inhand (max). With a decent pace of growth it wud take me anywhere from 6 to 8 years to return this amount. So no savings of my own if I have to return everything.. Meaning breakeven is about 7 years from now! Whoa!

I am just wondering about people who r taking a big loan... My dad doesn’t want his money back... But banks surely do.. That too with interest... Aint this cruel!? ;-)

1. what kind of rooms they have? In terms of facilities.....
2. Do we have to cook and eat??? ( That was a case 2 years back it seems)
3. How close are they fromo Nagarjuna Hills campus? ( I am assuming that our classes will be held inNagarjuna hills campus)
