Hii.. I Have Kind Of An Usual Query.. I Have Given Cet And They Have Their Gd/pi In June And D Results Out In July.. D Seat Allotment Is In Aug.. Now D Thing Is Being An Oms Condidae My Chances Are Not Very Great But Still I Would Keep My Fingers Crossed.. But The Icfai Course Starts In May And D Fees Has To Be Paid In April Then Do They Have Any Provision Of Me Dropping Out .. As In Do I Looe D Ntire 70000 Or Do I Get Atleast A Part Of It Back.. Any Ideas.. Also I M Thinking Of Colleges In Bombay... Nmely Jamumnalal,kj,wellinkar,sydnum An Pumba.. Areall Of These Better Than Icfai..
P.s.: I Plan To Specialize In Finance..

Hi there,

ICFAI is certainly better than IIT Chennai....but IIT Kharagpur is better

than ICFAI ! ( Purely my opinion ! )

Err..yeh Subbu,I posted tht,though my alter ego was busy giving final touches to the Project Report .Yeh,study 18 hours before the exam coz you arnt supposed to retain anything of wht u studied 18 hrs post it .

Finally I have opted out of ICFAI - H.
it was indeed a tough decision but i m happy i've made it now.

surely it wasn't an overnight decision.

I have met with lots of people- my friends, coaching insts.,
ICFAI- AHMEDABAD people, my friend priya who's ICFAI-m 2nd year student.
i went mumbai to meet priya specifically just for 1.5 hours.

the reason being clarified after all such meetings were one simple only: 800 INTAKE.

there are dire consequences on each and every part of the course
whether it's extra curricular activity or placements.

hey friends, i don't want to offend any people, but i would just say that all u please make thorough investigation before joining inst.

all the best all who are going to ICFAI.

n I'm 100% sure of wht I'm doing..........
Initially I too was a bit apprehensive, did a bit
of research, went thru last yrs' thread n
realised how difficult it must've been 4 our
seniors to decide regarding such a "controversial"
< sorry, cudn't find a better word! > institute.
But after getting in touch with Subbu n Zarine,
n making lots of frnds frm all over India even b4 joining,
I consider myself fortunate to join d same b-skool
as them. N trust me, I'm nt exaggerating !

Anyways, everyone is entitled to his/her own
opinions.....!! Good tht u r happy with ur decision.
I believe ultimately it all boils down to happiness
and satisfaction in life.........I guess I'm getting
a bit philosophical ? Let me stop now n here!

its really worrysome.. as supreme court has passed a order to shut down the private university.. which include ICFAI university(dated 21st march, times of india).. hey ppl or sme officials or existing students of ICFAI...plz clarify your stand ..i.e in taht case what ll b the future pospects after completing MBA frm the icfai..the univ which has lost its status of being called as university...wont that effect the placement scenerio out there......I m really tensed abt it... as this the only option i have in my hand....
