thats a nice thing to do, but as of now i havent decided if I will take up IBS Blore, anyways by MAR end i will have a clear picture on which institute i will be joining.

hi there! i would not really be able to comment on the other two colleges (specially on dis forum)! but since ur from delhi u will have a lot of advantages at gurgaon which u will realise later! also u should personally visit the campus since the other two are beyond ur reach (geographically)! u can also spot some seniors there and ask for their advise coz they have been thru these stages and would be in a better position to guide u! hope it helps!

hi Guyz

All in all a 50 50 review abt ICFAI Bangalore. However one must guard against creating an Image that ICFAI Bangalore = Finance Specialization. I believe one needs to pursue this specialization or any specialization for that matter based on once Aim, career objective, interest and mainly aptitude. To a great extend Finance is tougher of the others coz of the objectivity while the others have a greater element of subjectivity in the study material. ex: IN finance 2+2 = 4 only while in others 2+2 can be 22, 4, 100 etc...marketing is more dynamic in nature, HR has greater human element to it etc....
It would be gud if anyone of us to get a present ICFAI alumini to join this grp. Also if someone could post the statistics abt no of students, placement, avg salary details which was displayed center wise during the IBS briefings

Teaching is case based at ICFAI.Alumni of ICFAI call themselves as ICFAIans. Six weeks of working with business companies is mandatory. One has to complete independent project work. It is credit based course (total 10 credits per semester). More later.

the institute is OK... 5 stories, faculties are good - most of them r from mumbai campus, the locality is good, pune is strategically located, one can get good summer placements in mumbai, the student said that the only prob is infra (meaning comps) will have to opt for a pc/laptop, the batch strength of our immediate seniors is 170 (3 divisions), and our batch would be close to 250. i met one finance guy - was doing his summers in TATA Motors, marketing guy - summers in HDFC bank, AVG salary - 2.8 lac..., the course is rigourous, faculties make u slog like anything...

the externals ( written ) would be same, in hyd and in any other campus...

The students stay in residential complex (Nagras apts) 1500/- per month per person, 4 people in one flat, its 1BHK, 2 in bedroom 2 in hall, kitchen and bathroom common.. a 4 beds given, 4 small wardrobe, 4 chairs and 2 study table

hope this would suffice.
